If you do not return the rented equipment – or its accessories – on time (i.e., on the agreed return date), the rental period will be automatically extended and a daily rental fee reduced by 50% will be charged for the unreturned item. Once the accessory is returned, an invoice will be issued.

For example, if you were supposed to return a memory card by August 20, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., but returned it on August 24, 2022, at 4:00 p.m., you will be charged 50% of the daily rental rate for the memory card for the period between August 20, 2022, 6:00 p.m. and August 24, 2022, 4:00 p.m. (i.e., 4 × daily rental × 50%).

The current charge for unreturned accessories can be found in your account under the order details and in the SMS notification. In case of a reported loss, the rental fee will also be charged up to the date of the loss report, in addition to the compensation for the lost items.

If you know that you will not be returning the unreturned accessory (e.g., lost or irreparably damaged), please send this information by e-mail to faktury@biofilms.cz. This will stop the ongoing rental calculation and allow us to issue the final settlement for the item.
