How is a shooting day calculated?
At our rental, one rental day does not mean exactly 24 hours.
We’ve shaped our rental terms to give you maximum convenience – so you can focus on your shoot instead of counting hours and worrying about timing.
How does it work in practice?
-
Evening pick-up: If you collect your gear after 6:00 PM (or even later at night), your rental officially starts the following day. This way you can prepare everything in advance and avoid rushing on the morning of your shoot.
-
Return the next day: You can then return the gear anytime during that day – in the evening, at night, or even the following morning by 10:00 AM. All of this still counts as just one rental day.
-
Daytime pick-up (9:00 AM – 5:59 PM): If you schedule your pick-up during the day, the equipment must be returned the same evening, or the following morning by 10:00 AM, in order to be charged as one rental day.
Examples:
-
Pick-up on March 9 after 6:00 PM. Return on March 10 in the evening → charged as 1 day.
-
Pick-up on March 9 after 6:00 PM. Return on March 11 before 10:00 AM → charged as 1 day.
-
Pick-up on March 10 before 10:00 AM. Return on March 10 in the evening → charged as 1 day.
-
Pick-up on March 10 at 2:00 PM. Return on March 11 before 10:00 AM → charged as 1 day.
-
Pick-up on March 10 at 2:00 PM. Return on March 11 at 2:30 PM → charged as 2 days, since the gear is blocked for two full days.
Our goal is to make rentals stress-free: you can prepare your gear the evening before, and return it calmly the next morning. At the same time, we need to ensure that equipment is ready for the next filmmaker on schedule. That’s why we always follow the pick-up and return times stated in your booking. If you need more time, just let us know – whenever possible, we’ll be happy to adjust to your needs.
