Pick-Up & Return – How It Works

If You’re a New Customer

For your first order, you must present a valid physical ID showing your permanent address when collecting the equipment. Czech and Slovak citizens are required to provide a national ID card; other customers must provide an original passport together with a document proving their permanent residential address. Photos, scans or copies of documents are not accepted. For customers without a Czech ID and sufficient references, we require a refundable security deposit. For a first rental, the amount is assessed individually and may range from 0–70% of the equipment’s purchase value. We primarily take into account the value and scope of the order and verifiable professional connections, such as the production company, industry colleagues, other contacts or references. If the actual place of residence cannot be verified – for example, if the listed address is a municipal registration office or other administrative address, or if the document does not contain a complete residential address – we require the maximum security deposit of 70% of the purchase value of the rented equipment. The more verifiable information and professional connections we have available, the lower the required deposit may be, or it may be waived entirely.

The first order can only be paid by a payment card issued in the name of the billing or collecting contact.

Where to Pick Up Gear

We have three physical locations:

• Prague: K Žižkovu 1038/1A
• Brno: Kounicova 2B
• Bratislava: Račianska 75, inside the premises of the Welding Research Institute

All locations are easily accessible by car.

Where & When to Return

Return your gear to the same location where you picked it up, according to the terms stated in your rental agreement. Late returns may result in additional charges.

Need Delivery?

Yes – we offer delivery services. Details are available in the Delivery step during checkout. Choose your preferred time, address, and delivery method.

Express Fee

Last-minute orders are subject to an express fee based on order size and prep time. The exact amount is automatically calculated at checkout.

Unreturned Accessories

If you return accessories late, the rental period will automatically extend. You’ll be charged 50% of the daily rental rate for each day past the return deadline.
For example: If a memory card was due on Aug 20 at 18:00 and you return it on Aug 24 at 16:00, you’ll be charged 50% of the daily rate for 4 days.

What If Something’s Lost?

Until the loss is reported, standard rental fees apply. You’ll also be charged for the replacement cost of the item.

Add Technical Contacts

In your booking notes, feel free to include contacts for crew members like the gaffer, 1st AC, or DOP. This helps us coordinate technical needs quickly and efficiently.
