LIT - light illumination tool

We are launching a free universal tool for the filmmaking community to compare lens compatibility with a given camera.

You can plot multiple cameras and their specific sensor settings for a given lens and see how they relate to its particular vignetting characteristics. This is a unique tool within the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and we are pleased that Biofilms is behind its development.

Connecting

1. First connect all SDI devices to a power source and switch them on to check that they work.

2. Connect the SDI cables (in any order).

Depleted battery

1. First disconnect the SDI cables from the affected devices.

2. Replace the batteries in the affected devices and switch them on to check that they work.

3. Connect the SDI cables (in any order).

Disconnecting

1. First disconnect the SDI cables (in any order).

2. Switch off the SDI devices and disconnect them from the power source.

Reason: When handling the power source, the ground conductor may disconnect and the SDI connection may take over its function, even if only briefly. Failure to follow the procedure above may therefore permanently damage the SDI integrated circuits, which cannot withstand these currents.

Eartec Pairing

Pairing Eartec without a HUB

• Switch on the MASTER and hold the programming button for 3–5 seconds. Then press the programming button 7 times to reset it.

• Switch on the REMOTE, hold the programming button on the MASTER for 3–5 seconds, then press the down arrow on the REMOTE 3 times and hold the up arrow.

Eartec with a HUB

• Reset the HUB (hold channel 1 for 5 seconds until it starts flashing, then press channel 1 seven times to reset it. Repeat for channel 2).

• Linking a REMOTE: hold channel 1 on the HUB, then press the down arrow on the REMOTE 3 times and hold the up arrow. Repeat with the other REMOTEs – 4 Eartec units per channel.
