The FX2 Full-Frame Camera brings you a cinematic image that combines high resolution with beautiful blur. The camera is equipped with a back-illuminated CMOS Exmor R™ sensor, supported by a BIONZ XR™ image processor and an advanced AI processing unit. It offers high sensitivity, wide-angle images and 33 MP resolution, giving ambitious film visionaries everything they need.

The FX2's full-frame sensor produces footage with smooth and natural gradation thanks to more than 15 steps of width when recording with S-Log3, ensuring footage is captured with all the detail even in high-contrast scenes. The base ISO sensitivity for S-Log3 capture can be set from 800 to 4000. For broad compatibility, the camera also supports the S-Gamut3/S-Gamut3.Cine color spectrum. All of this contributes to maximum efficiency when editing footage from multiple cameras.

When Full-Frame recording at 4K (QFHD 3840 x 2160) and 4K at 60p (59.94p) is enabled in Super 35mm mode, 7K oversampled resolution is used with full pixel readout and without pixel binning technology. With 10-bit depth, 4:2:2 color sampling, efficient MPEG-H HEVC/H.265 codec and Intra recording including DCI-4K (4096 x 2160), exceptional quality is guaranteed.
